Camp Songs
Here we have a selection of some of our campers’ favorite songs that we like to sing at Camp Lee Mar. While preparing for your exciting, fun-filled summer at Lee Mar, you may want to read over the songs before you arrive. We look forward to singing them with you at our campfires, Camp Sing nights and special events.
The Camp Lee Mar Song
Camp Lee Mar, its so much fun
We play lots of games and we swim in the sun.
We’ve got soccer and baseball and tennis too
And if you’ll join in its fun for you
Camp Lee Mar, Camp Lee Mar
Camp Lee Mar we go to school,
We learn lots of things and it’s really cool.
We do perceptual training and lots of speech,
And all of our counselors love to teach.
Camp Lee Mar, Camp Lee Mar
Camp Lee Mar, we’ve got great staff
We love our Directors and we love to laugh.
At the end of the summer we’ll be sad to go
But it won’t be long before we say “Hello” to Camp Lee Mar
The Pie Song (Echo Song)
Oh, my,
I want a piece of pie.
But the pie’s too sweet,
I want a piece of meat.
But the meat’s too red,
I want a piece of bread.
But the bread’s too brown,
I think I’ll go to town.
But the town’s too far,
I think I’ll take a car.
But the car’s too slow,
I fell and stubbed my toe.
My toe’s in pain,
I think I’ll take a train.
But the train had a wreck,
I almost broke my neck.
Oh, my, no more pie.
Oh, my, no more pie.
Bingo
There was a farmer who had a dog
And Bingo was his name-o.
B-I-N-G-O
B-I-N-G-O
B-I-N-G-O
And Bingo was his name-o
Repeat -each time you sing the next verse substitute a letter with a clap.
Galoop
Galoop went the little green frog one day,
Galoop went the little green frog,
Galoop went the little green frog one day,
And his eyes went gloop, gloop, gloop!
But, we know frogs go la-dee-da-dee-da
La-dee-da-dee-da, La-dee-da-dee-da
We know frogs go la-dee-da-dee-da
They don't go gloop, gloop, gloop!
Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.
